Our season generally runs from late October through May. No paddling experience is needed, and your keiki doesn't need to belong to another canoe club. A parent or guardian completes registration and signs the waiver.
Ages 10 to 18 · Starts October 20, 2026 · $100 per season

What's included
The $100 season fee covers practices, coaching from experienced volunteers and use of club canoes when available. Families provide their own paddle and PFD.

Before you start
Have your paddler's date of birth, an emergency contact name and phone number, and a parent or guardian's email ready. The waiver is sent to that email.
Water safety
Newer paddlers who are still building experience must wear a life jacket (PFD) on the water.
Every practice is supervised by experienced coaches with a safety plan and a first-aid kit on shore.
Adult supervision for every group
Life jackets (PFDs) required for newer paddlers
Ocean and weather conditions checked before every practice

No. Most of our paddlers started with no experience, and coaches teach the basics from day one.
Paddlers aged 10 to 18.
Experienced coaches lead every session, with adult volunteers and a first-aid kit on shore.
The safety and well-being of our keiki always come first. If conditions aren't safe, practice moves on land or is cancelled, and families are notified through our team communication app. Some practices may launch from Heʻeia Kea Pier or another approved spot depending on conditions, and families always hear about location changes in advance.
After you pay the registration fee, the waiver is emailed to the parent or guardian automatically. Sign it online; no printing needed.
